Since 2016, we have dedicated ourselves to nurturing Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dogs that not only meet breed standards but also thrive in family environments. Our commitment to health testing ensures that each pup is free from genetic disorders, while our rigorous temperament evaluations guarantee that they are well-suited for family life.
We raise our dogs in a loving, family-oriented setting in Doerun, GA, allowing them to develop into well-adjusted companions. Our journey began in Washington State. when we first discovered the Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog breed we knew we wanted to learn more. Our first Houla was Painted K's Milo. There was something about his striking coat and playful spirit that captured our hearts instantly. As we spent time with him, we learned about the rich history and unmatched versatility of the breed. It was a moment that ignited a passion within us, and from that day forward, we were eager to learn everything we could about these incredible dogs.
As our love for the Catahoula deepened, we knew we wanted to share this joy with others. We decided to expand our family by adding North Country's Ziva to our pack, and that was when Twig & Tail was born.
We moved our family and pack to Doerun GA at the end of 2021. With new beginnings we have slowly built up our farm, family with 6 kids, and pack. With a commitment to preserving the Catahoula breed, we made it our mission to not only breed exceptional dogs but also to educate ourselves and others about the importance of health testing and responsible breeding practices. We became a certified NALC breeder, and our dedication to the breed has only grown stronger over the years.
