Est 1989 Timber Kennels LLC is licensed and inspected by the Georgia Dept of Agriculture and the American Kennel Club. Lisa Bowman created TK in Atlanta and started with a super nice puppy she obtained from Connie Hayes at Hiredhand, CH Hiredhand Mad Max CD HS. Lisa showed him to his Companion Dog obedience title and his AKC conformation Championship and AKC Herding Started title! He was Lisa's constant companion and lifetime soulmate never to be forgotten! Max is behind most Timber puppies of today!

Located in Sandersville, GA Lisa has dedicated the past 37 years to nurturing exceptional Australian Cattle Dogs adding Labrador Retrievers in 2020. Our goal is to focus on producing healthy, well-tempered absolutely beautiful puppies that thrive and excel in AKC events, working ranches, community service, and all-around family environments.

We prioritize the health and temperament of our dogs, ensuring they are not only physically sound but genetically sound. We complete genetic testing on all our breeding stock to the CHIC# level, Canine Health Institute, including PRCD, PLL, RCD4, hips, elbows, patella, cardiac, dentition, CERF eye exams and BAER hearing tests. Our dogs earn CHIC#s following the required breed tests.

It is important to us as breeders to preserve the original traits that make ACDS so unique and special. Originating from the Dingo in Australia, our ACDs are natural born driving dogs that train easily and are eager to please. It is important for our buyers to research this breed for compatibility prior to purchase.

We also take great pride in the appearance of our dogs adhering to the American Kennel Club standard. We have both reds and blues and we take puppy deposits of $200 to reserve a 8 week old puppy for you as well keep a list.

We breed ACDs with substance/lots of bone, super correct balance and motion, with character and integrity to match. They will outwit you in an instant!

ACDs are the most loyal happy breed I know as long as your cool. They don't like wishy washy people so if your not strong minded do not get an Australian Cattle Dog! They are not for everyone. However, they are incredible lifetime partners and will always have your back. Prepare to be active and include your Timber puppy as a full family member for a successful experience.
