My husband Ross has had / been raising Chesapeake Bay Retrievers for over 60 years. At 16 years old he un accompanied to to Arco Idaho and picked up his first Chesapeake Sagebrush Angle, which lead him down a path and unforgettable Journey. He knew from the young age of 16, that he wanted to upkeep the purity of the Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. He studied the breed, and their Healthcare, their DNA, he has evolved along with the world, and makes sure that every puppy that comes from one of his very carefully selected dogs are fully health checked, OFA Hips and Elbows, along with having Full DNA Pannel done on each puppy that comes through our Kennel. Fast forward many Years, Ross and I along with my 2 children became a family, I got my very 1st Chesapeake Bay retriever in 2024, Which Began the Journey of Whispering Rain Chesapeake, Together my children and Ross work diligently to Train, and compete with our Chesapeakes in multiple events, such as Hunt Test, Conformation, Obedience, etc.
We very selectively breed our dogs to very carefully chose mates, to ensure high drive quality pups.
