Welcome to Johnson Kennels! As a family-owned dog breeder based in Northwest, Georgia, we take great pride in raising our puppies right in the comfort of our own home. Our mission is to provide families with a healthy, happy, and well-socialized puppy. Our puppies are carefully bred from health-tested parents to ensure that your new furry family member is healthy and happy.
As a dog breeder, we take pride in raising the best quality pups with excellent health, great temperaments, and beautiful coats. Our puppies come with a lifetime health guarantee and we’re always here to answer any questions you may have. We provide a loving environment for our puppies and ensure they are well-socialized with people and other pets.
In addition, we are pleased to help you arrange delivery of our puppy, within the United States. We understand that it can be difficult to travel long distances to pick up your new puppy, so we work with several responsible ground transportation companies to help bring your new furry family member right to your doorstep.

What sizes of Poodles do you offer?
We have standard poodles, which are normally between 50-70 pounds. We also have small standards (known in other countries as Moyen) which are generally between 30-45 pounds. Occasionally we may breed a smaller size based on the sizes of the parents we pair together. We are committed to producing quality puppies for you and your family.
What colors of Labs do you offer?
Note: Our lab program has been discontinued.

What about those Frenchies?
We have introduced French Bulldogs to our program in 2024. Currently, we produce Blue, Lilac and also Rojo French Bulldogs that sometimes carry tan points, merle and sometimes fluffy! We are in love with this new breed!

Just a little about us…
I’m Karen Johnson, owner and breeder at Johnson Kennels.
I have been breeding dogs, of different breeds, for almost 20 years.
I first started with beagles, then malti-poos, then doodles, labs and poodles, and now French Bulldogs!
Although I no longer breed anything other than poodles and frenchies, I love dogs of all breeds but these breeds have a special place in my heart.
Maybe it started with the poodles that belonged to my cousin when I was a child.
They were always perfectly groomed, nails painted, completely spoiled. I wanted dogs like that!
Delilah was my first doodle, an F1b Shipoo! But we didn’t call them that back then.
She was 3/4 poodle so we called her a poodle mix. She was perfectly paired with Sam, our Maltese boy.
They were truly in love and had beautiful babies together for several years. Some of their offspring
I’m still in contact with today, all of which are over 10 years old.
When I was a teenager my parents had a ‘hand me down’ lab mix named Tonto that used our home
as a drive thru restaurant. He showed up for food and that was about it, but he was a good, sweet boy that
I have never forgotten.
These two breeds, Poodles, and Labrador Retrievers, have earned their place in my heart and live for good.
But however it happened, they are my favorites, and the smartest breeds, in my opinion. However, the crazy little French Bulldogs are a joyful addition!
What started out as a labor of love for my pets has turned into a labor of love for myself and my family as well.
It’s such a joy to nurture and love the parent dogs while they bring forth their puppies that pass on the joy to other families like yours!
Johnson Kennels isn’t your average puppy breeder. We are a licensed pet breeder in the State of GA. All of our dogs are lovingly raised in the home environment. We offer AKC Labrador Retrievers, AKC Standard Poodles, and CKC Moyen Poodles (30-45 lbs) and AKC French Bulldogs. We strive to produce outstanding, healthy puppies that will be a blessing to your family for years to come.
