Our journey into the world of breeding is a story born from childhood wonder and a passion that has only deepened over the years. It all began with a fascination for the remarkable Golden Retrievers bred by our great-grandparents' neighbor, a memory that sparked our lifelong love for these incredible dogs. Growing up in the late 1970s and early 1980s, we were captivated by their grace and charm, learning through every interaction about temperament, trainability, and the special qualities that make each dog unique. These early moments laid the groundwork for our deep appreciation of breeding as an art form and for the meaningful bonds we would forge with our own animals.
By our early twenties, that childhood curiosity had blossomed into a true calling. With our best friend by our side, we embarked on an exciting adventure—importing dogs with exceptional bloodlines and starting our own breeding program. This transformative path taught us to see beyond the surface, to understand each dog’s personality, quirks, and strengths, and to envision how these qualities would pass to their puppies.
